Petra Ecclestone Makes Kim Kardashian's Wedding Look Cheap

Remember how shocked we were to find out how much Kim Kardashian paid for her wedding dresses? It seemed outrageously excessive at the time, but compared to British heiress Petra Ecclestone, Kim is looking downright thrifty.

Reports said the cost of Kim's three Vera Wang dresses plus one for her mom, one for Kris's mom, and the four for her bridesmaids was somewhere between $135,000 - wholesale wedding dresses $150,000. That's the price of a home in some parts, but she is Kim Kardashian, so it wasn't exactly unexpected. What is unexpected is how much (MUCH!) more Ecclestone's dress -- also by Vera Wang -- cost when she wed businessman James Stunt this weekend.

According to E!, the rest of the wedding, held at the same Italian castle at which Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes were married, was extremely extravagant too. Guests included Paris and Nicky Hilton, Princesses Beatrice and Eugenie, and Sarah Ferguson. There were $6,500 bottles of wine, entertainment by Andrea Bocelli, Eric Clapton and the Black Eyed Peas, and an insane pre-wedding dinner the night before at which Alicia Keys sang.
